Description

Spyderco’s micro-sized slipjoints are fully functional, impressively sharp folding knives that are very much at home on a keychain. Their stainless steel handles are the perfect palette for engraving or other embellishment and their Trademark Round Holes are much more user friendly than traditional nail nicks.

The flat ground blade is 3Cr13 stainless steel available with a PlainEdge. The Bug's handle offers a flat surface for a small amount of engraving or embellishment and can be customized for use as jewelry or a gift item. Positioned on the end of the handle is a lanyard hole large enough to thread with a chain and be worn around the neck or slipped onto a key chain. The Bug is the smallest folder in our lineup.

Tiny, but very sharp and very usable.

1st purchase from Heinnie and can only echo what everybody else has said. Fantastic service and fast. The bug is tiny. I read the specs and reviews but a 3.3 cm blade really is tiny. It is a serious knife though feels solidly built and is sharp straight from the tiny Spyderco box. It is on my keyring and will go everywhere with me. It is totally inoffensive but is up to most of the jobs I am likely to encounter.

Just get one for your keyring

Scalpel sharp out of the box. You may get the odd rust spot, but easy to clean off. Excellent discreet little blade. I have a couple, one is 5 years old & still going strong

Love the bug and I am sure my wife will love it as a nifty key-ring legal carry knife.

    Be rude not to!

This is probably the one bit of must-have kit for the ordinary 21st century human. There is just no reason not to have one of these on your key-ring, unless you're about to board an aircraft. Though I usually have a bigger, UK-legal knife on my person as well, this is fantastic for small everyday tasks without freaking out your work colleagues, as well as being lovely for more delicate, craft knife style work. Top bit of gear.

    Oh dear....

I bought three of these a while ago and all three have been lost. No problem, I will get a new one, or so I thought. But the price has tripled. This Chinese micro-knife is not in the same league as an Alox Victorinox SD but now costs nearly as much, nor is Chinese exchange rate, labour cost etc comparable with the Western equivalent. Having said that, they sit invisibly on a key ring , are well-made and sharp. They are pleasing to handle and capable, real knives for light tasks. But fifteen quid? Not a chance. It was a pleasing buy at Five Ninety-Nine but now Spyderco are just being silly.

    BRILLIANT!

The Spyderco Bug. What a great little tool, It may be small but it is not a toy! Razor sharp out of the box, looks great on a keyring and very handy too. My partner payed for this lovely little knife for me yesterday as a prezzie at about 1.30pm and it was at my door today at about 2.30pm. I don't know how you do it HH but thank you. Would recommend to anyone thinking about getting one of these little Spyderco Bug knives just go for it. It's worth every penny and very well made, now got my eye on the next two sizes up. Once again thanks you HH.
