Description

Spyderco’s micro-sized slipjoints are fully functional, impressively sharp folding knives that are very much at home on a keychain. Their stainless steel handles are the perfect palette for engraving or other embellishment and their Trademark Round Holes are much more user friendly than traditional nail nicks.

The flat ground blade is 3Cr13 stainless steel available with a PlainEdge. The Bug's handle offers a flat surface for a small amount of engraving or embellishment and can be customized for use as jewelry or a gift item. Positioned on the end of the handle is a lanyard hole large enough to thread with a chain and be worn around the neck or slipped onto a key chain. The Bug is the smallest folder in our lineup.

    Buy it, buy it now!

Posted by RD on 18th Jun 2011

This was the first Spyderco I ever bought. It's a dinky little knife and cheap as can be. However it comes out of the box shave sharp. For such a cheap knife I was fully expecting there to be a bit of give/movement of the blade when fully open, there isn't. Truely fantastic knife for the money. So good within a few days I ordered the Honeybee and Grasshopper. Also makes me feel confident that if I ever wanted to spend more money on a pocket knife then Spyderco must be the ones to look at, if the cheap ones are THIS good..... PS very good service from Heinnie...thank you.

    Amzingly good

I bought this to go on my key ring as a bit of a novelty. Having had it for a few weeks now, I've found it to be one of the most useful knives I've ever owned. Sharp otb, and very well constructed, it's coped with everything I've asked of it. Tbh, I can't think of a single reason why everybody shouldn't own one. Excellent service from HH as well, I shall definately buy from here again.

    Amazing little thing

Amazing little knife; I'd have happily paid 5X the price for it. I am so sure the price is a mistake I'm buing 3! I'd buy 10, but that's just being silly.

You may not find it again. Very small very sharp out of the box and straight on to my keyring what more can I say. Oh did I mention it's tiny.

    Brilliant - worth every penny

This is a great little knife. Its very small and neat and its clever shape means you can hold it securely and get pressure on the blade easily despite its size. My blade is razor sharp out of the box. The quality is amazing for the price. Just get one before they all sell out!

    I've got the Bug

Tiny and perfect. I now have the Bug the Bee and the Hopper and I love them all. The Grasshopper is the most useable IMHO.

Spyderco Bug - a must knife to have!

Posted by Jason on 12th Mar 2011

Excellent, small, sharp, easy to carry. I keep it on a small chain around my neck, totally fool proof, reasonably stiff to open and close which IMO is a good thing. Looks great, a must for any outdoors man, adventurer or working man. 10.10

Perfect keyring knife! Always good to have on you and as socially acceptable as a knife can be.
