Always my go to knife , great for the little jobs at work or around the home. keeps a decent edge, has a good solid lock. An essential part of my EDC.

This little big-knife might be a Chinese made Spidy but it's beautifully made which is really what matters. The only problem is you can't EDC it - otherwise perfect!

The title says it all! HH once again made the jump to light speed with their delivery, well done HH. I wanted a secondary smaller blade to back up my other Spyderco, and the Ambitious was a perfect choice. She is a beautiful little blade, just right for skinning, and smaller jobs, where a bigger blade is to clumsy, 5 stars. Oh well, better annoy the wife, and get the rest of the Tenacious collection.

Like Pete below suggests, this *was* my first Spyderco. My first pocket knife since I was a kid, really. I've had a couple of Leathermen (youngman, there's no need to share that!) over the years, but not a proper pocket knife. It was hard to contemplate spending nearly a ton on a penknife, but this was a great entry into the world of Spyderco knives. Shaving sharp on arrival, it's a great little EDC. Robust, fits well in the hand and in the pocket. The flat grind will make it easy to maintain, and the leaf shape is a really usable blade for pretty well any cutting task. If I had a criticism, it's the way that the cutting edge vanishes into the handle. I'm guessing that that'll make it hard to sharpen that last millimeter or two. But this is an issue on all of the cheap Chinese folders, Tenacious, etc. And it shouldn't prove too much of a problem in practice, it's more an aesthetic thing, I think. Hard to give this one less than five stars.

I love this little knife, perfect size for those little tasks around the house. Came a little gritty out of the box but a good oiling saw to it that this blade just flys out like lightning with little effort. Razor sharp full flat ground steel with robust build quality you can rely on. Fits well in the hand giving great cutting control & good grip on the G10 handle scales. Small knife with solid lockup.
