Straight out of the box you can see this is a no nonsense solid and practical work knife. The red scales lifts it above the standard work or sodbuster knives and you can feel that this knife will do what you start out to do. For £15 why wouldn't you want this knife.
About a good third or more bigger than I was expecting, guess I should read the specs properly! This is a decent knife by any standards, and for the price is a great knife. Somewhat strange having a slipjoint in conjunction with a liner lock and it is a bit stiff to close as you are disengaging the lock and pushing against the backspring, it's definitely a two handed operation! The blade is damn sharp, and thick enough to stand up to the kind of abuse that a work knife might reasonably expect to receive.
Another good one from Rough Rider. Well made, no nonsense simple knife, great for safety when you need the assurance of a liner lock to prevent the blade from 'snapping shut' on your fingers. Always nice to have a big chopper handy in your trouser pocket!
