Rough Ryder Sharpening Stone Set

For the price i cannot fault these stones, I soaked them for 30 mins in a mixture of water & washing up liquid then went through the grades & in about 30 mins turned a blunt knife into 1 that passed the paper cutting test. you must keep them wet with the soapy solution. Just the right size for hand stones & well worth the price. very quick delivery.

Context: Used a Falknieven DC4 for about a year. These 3 stones are great, light and effective. they put a great edge on both my Mora stainless and my kitchen knife (and all my other knives.) The fine stone is much finer than the ceramic DC4 i have been used to, and puts a beyond shaving sharp edge on anything rather quickly. While the rough stone is very rough and takes a lot of material with it, great for repairing light to medium nicks in an edge. My only complaint is there was no guide on cleaning or maintaining these stones, but i suppose i will just google that and for £6, i can't expect it all. Over all, i am very please with the stones and they far out perform similar stones, even the DC4 at its £14 price point.
