The Rough Rider Highland Lockback is a very solid locking knife with a traditional design that is perfectly suited to the great outdoors.
It's been said before but is always worth repeating... the quality of Rough Rider knives is unbelievable considering the price bracket.
The Highland Lockback has a stainless steel, clip point blade. The handle is a combination of nickel silver bolsters, black G10 scales and red G10 inlay and liners. It has a hole for a lanyard to customise your knife. It is supplied with a leather and nylon belt pouch which allows for horizontal or vertical carry.

I was going to buy a new buck lockback, which I have had several over the last 40 years, when I saw this knife and I must say that she's a lovely knife, solid and well made, good positive lock and such a good price.
I love this knife. Not the greatest steel but I only bought it for light use so I don't care. It is beautiful to look at and feels confortable and really sturdy in the hand. The sheath is nice with molle straps for vertical and horizontal carry. It was really sharp out of the box and the service from HH was A1. Highly recommended.
Considering I live in France I was amazed how quickly it was delivered. Its a solid , well made knife with a really sharp blade and looks like it is made to last. Aesthetically, it is also pleasing on the eye I wasn't expecting a belt pouch with the knife so was doubly pleased. I have seen lesser quality knives costing more so this is excellent value. This was the first RR knife I saw on Heinnie's website but it wasn't the first RR I bought and I'm not sure why I waited. When I finally got one I was immediately pleased with it as I got it out the box. It comes in a really nice nylon pouch with leather accent and has a nice solid snap button. The knife itself is solid, weighty and feels like a far more expensive knife. There is a nice palm swell you can really get a grip of and the dimensions are ideal not too big and not too small. The clip point blade is exceedingly sharp out of the box. I can't recommend this knife enough. At this price there is absolutely no reason not to but one, or two and pass one on as a gift. Any recipient would be pleased.
