Pretty size, handle fits exactly in a grown man's hand. Two blades parted by copper liners, no blade rub posible. Fit and finnish verry good due to non complicated construction. I have a RR whitler wich is pretty complicated with 3 blade springs and stuf which has to fit in a small package. Just 2 springs of the same size, pretty simple construction. The knive is JUST large enough to be a grown man's knive, without being to large ! Nice story, aparantly US soldiers in the Vietnam war used to carry the Copperhead often. Why this and not for example the Trapper, no idea but this is a nicer knive with great shape blades. 1 clip point and 1 sort of fishing filet knive. Would be nice if RR would make a commemorative Vietnam verion of this knive, sales would realy hit the roof on that i think. Lots of Trapper special editions, but with cheap plastics and the blade shape on them are not so nice as on a Copperhead. Realy worth its money with a perfect size. And proven practicality in the jungle !
Very nice but had to glue the shield back in as it fell out apart from that very nice build for price
Two blades, one clip point and one that I would describe as a skinning / fillet blade. Both paper slicing sharp out of the box. Quick strop on a leather belt brought both blades up to shaving sharp. Blades are centered, walk & talk is good. Back springs are firm enough without being over aggressive. My first throught when I examined it was that it would make a good rabbiting knife. Blade combintion should handle skinning and gutting a rabbit quite nicely.
