The Rockstead Sai is a quite exceptional knife. The quality of any Rockstead knife is beyond compare. It uses steel that can only be formed into a blade shape with endless processes in addition too polishing and sharpening all done by hand. The result is a knife that will slice through rope, boxes or wood with ease and will not require sharpening in its lifetime.
This version has a tanto shaped blade formed with a ZDP189 - VG10 lamination with an extraordinary Rockwell hardness level of 67.1 (ZDP 189) and 61.3 (VG10). The harder ZDP 189 used as the filling and the VG10 as the outer. The Titanium handle has a step design with a DLC-Prism coating which is both practical and very easy on the eye. The blade is locked into place with a linerlock and opens and closes extremely smoothly.
It is supplied with a leather belt pouch, polishing cloth and wooden display, storage box.
