Real Steel Heinnie Haynes® Luna Red G10 Folding Knife 18

I bought this knife a few months ago, but as it's back in stock I thought I'd say how pleased I've been with it. It's the first quality folding knife I've purchased and it's really given me the bug to get more. I know what a sharp knife feels like as I've spent a fair few years as a chef, and own a few nice bits of cutlery. The edge that this blade will take is truly stunning for the price though; out of the box it took the hairs straight off my arm! The feel of the action when opening and closing it really appeals to me. I love things that are solid: Well designed and well made. This knife is definitely solid. It's UK legal so no locking mechanism, but the stops are so positive that you never feel like it's going to fold up on you. If you're looking for an entry level knife that punches well above is weight, this is definitely one for the short list.

A UK legal EDC with a great shape to the very sharp blade. The slip joint is nice and stiff so requires a bit of pressure to close which is good news, so you are less likely to close the knife on your fingers. Would benefit from a thumb stud as standard, but is an optional extra but that then bumps up the price. Over all a great EDC

Really impressed with the Luna as a whole, its light weight in particular making it a perfect pop-it-in-the-pocket companion. Problem is, the first one I received had an uneven blade on one side – you could feel the ripple when running your finger along it. So it got sent back. And now the replacement has the same issue, plus a light but noticeable mark on the handle. I know it's only a 30 quid product, so I'm not looking for premium quality, but the fact that a previous review cites the same problem shows there's a quality control issue here. Back to the post office again…

A fantastic design and an extremely light weight choice. The pocket clip is deep carry, and the blade thickness is very slim. Superb ergonomics and great safety with knurling on the blade. At such a competitive price, what are you waiting for?

Can't complain about anything with this knife. Came very sharp and built great, for the price it's over exceeded my expectations. Only thing I could've asked for is a thumb stud, but they can be purchased separately (when in stock). Picked up the generic Hennie stud but its a little large.

I had been considering getting this knife as an edc and finally pulled the trigger and bought one. It arrived in 24 hours so was delighted. The knife DISAPPEARS in your pocket and have to check as you really can’t feel it in your pocket. This is Ridiculously sharp out of the box, easily can shave hair from your arm. I would definitely recommend this knife, it’s a lovely unassuming tool that you won’t be disappointed with. The red G10 is slim, light and reliably strong. Do your self a favor have one of these in your collection. 10/10
