Awesome knife heavy chopper great deal and is cool that it comes with a one year warranty in case it broke from exceptible use, nice sheath too, can't complain about of the knife's price even though there are loads of more expensive quality knives this is a decent tool for the money.

    great knife

Posted by ralph on 10th Nov 2018

chopped a 100 mm square length of wood up with the knife . no problem but the black finish was wearing off.The sheath seems to be ok double retaining straps hold the knife in fine. The service from Heinnie Haynes was was great as always.

    Fantastic tool.

Posted by John on 8th Feb 2018

Just used this to cut back a garden, chop down some superfluous wooden boards, and dig/ pry some stubborn bushes from the ground. The coating is barely touched, and what nicks the blade has acquired (hitting loose stones) have come out easily enough (benefits of a RELATIVELY soft steel). Out of the box it was impressively sharp and even after the work was done it maintained a good edge, regardless the shape of the blade lends itself to chopping and would remain a viable chopper for a long time without sharpening. I appreciate that it will not be a factor for most, but the molle capable sheath is a nice addition that adds to its portability- its not an ideal belt knife regardless of where you might find yourself, but sits well on a daysack. (In an absolute ideal world it would be about 2"" and around 4.5/5mm thick but this is just irrelevant nit picking).

In short; its well worth the money, and I expect many years of service from it and the service from HH continues to be exceptional. Don't take my word from it there are more than enough favourable reviews out there about this model,
