No fuss, gets the job done

Posted by Matthew on 18th Jun 2019

I now work away from home most days, so need to pack a lot more tools and equipment in my day carry. But the important stuff gets scattered around and you can't put your hands on it when you need to. I bought several cheaper pouches which did not last for more than a few weeks before I paid the premium for the Maxpedition pouch. It is not huge, but i keep my essentials in there, flashlight, multitool, knife, lighter, meds and it takes that all of that stuff (worth hundreds of quid), and organises it perfectly. The quality of bag is beyond reproach with tough nylon and the very best stitching and finish. Having all of the essential gear in one pouch (which goes inside the rucksack) is very convenient as I can throw that into any other bag I pack and know I have everything to hand. This has probably saved me way more than the cost of the pouch in time spent packing and repacking. I am now going to but a fatty organiser which will contain all of my IT gear (powerbank, cables, connectors). Nothing beats the quality of Maxpedition, and you won't regret buying one of these.

Not so great for cargo pockets.

Posted by Wesley on 23rd Aug 2018

A quick update. I got the email about Heinnie staff EDC. I have to disagree with the mention of this organiser and cargo pockets. When ever I put this in my 5.11 TDU pants (trousers) and then walk around or jog, the pocket velcro flaps come undone. But maybe that is more a criticism of the trousers, since a heavy small pocket organiser will also yank open the flaps. Still, this is a great organiser, amazing quality etc. I just don't think it is well suited to cargo pockets in my experience.

    Fits in my backpack nicely.

Posted by Wez on 10th May 2016

This, as with every other Maxpedition product, is built to last and be very useful.

I keep mine in my backpack (5.11 Rush 24) so that I can put some tools in it. It is great for organising tools.

I can give it my recommendation.

    Satisfied customer

Posted by Lewey on 28th Oct 2014

Received EDC bag one day after ordering, very fast service from HH. Nicely made, zip works well & goes round the corners smoothly when bag is full. It's just the right size for my needs but could be a bit thicker as I soon filled it up. I bought the khaki version but it is a bit on the green side. I thought khaki was light brown as used in WWII. I am delighted with bag.

    Very useful piece of kit

Posted by Jack on 15th Feb 2014

I'm finding this a really useful piece of kit, and will probably order at least one of the other models. Appreciate the fast dispatch. Hope I'm not waiting as long for the other item ordered as for the belt I ordered EIGHTEEEN MONTHS AGO!

    Saves pocket wear.

Posted by Steve on 27th Jun 2013

I carry an EDC kit that is getting larger and my pockets were suffering.
Now I can get it all in one pack securely strapped in so no rattles and it spreads the area which the tools occupy so it's more comfortable.
Best of all it fits easily in the side pocket of my cargo pants.
Next time I'll go for the "Fatty" version.
HH did their usual great service.

    Ideal Smartphone case

Posted by Ian Jones on 30th Jan 2013

I bought one of these as a pouch for my huge Samsung Galaxy Note II Smartphone. It works really well. phone slips into either of the full size slip pockets and I have plenty of room left if I want to add any phone accesories, such as charge/sync cables, headphones, bluetooth headset, cleaning cloth. The pouch then fits nicely into any cargo pants pocket, coat pocket or rucksack pocket. I was worried this might be too big but it's as though they have taken the average pocket measurement and built it around that. As with all Maxpedition gear the build quality and materials are of a high standard. Very happy. Heinnie's - awesome service as usual.

    very pleased

Posted by keith on 7th May 2012

Glad I got the EDC case it's not too big but holds tonnes of stuff in it, so far I've managed to get a small compass, whistle, torch, firesteel, pill container, tin opener, leatherman squirt, victorinox sak, windproof lighter, mini pry bar, space pen, tinder container, gerber knife sharpener, duct tape, larger led torch and a small hacksaw blade in, phew!! There's still room for more gear in there and it's easy to get in with the clever clam shell design of the pack, I would recommend this to anyone with little nik naks they want to keep in one place.

    Great Organizer

Posted by Paolo on 28th Feb 2012

I bought the EDC pocket organizer when the thicker Fatty as well as the smaller Mini and Micro versions were not available yet. No regrets, it's a great organizer, living up to Maxpedition standards of ruggedness and attention to detail. If you need for items that tend to be longish but not extremely thick this is the organizer. I eventually got all 4.
