This knife is great, has half stop, is very comfortable in the hand. Unfortunately, mine has two different scales. One is pale with many black speckles and the other is darker without the speckles. Should've gone to speckle savers.

Let down by a minor defect

The knife out of the box is excellent, it comes reasonably sharp with highly polished bone which feels great in the hand. It's a shame the blade keeps hitting the back spacer, which has now resulted in a visible chip/ roll on the edge. A let down because this knife is a bargain gem otherwise.

OK at the price but not as sharp as some I have bought. It depends what you want of course and I think it is worth double the price for the Boker Plus Heinnie® Tech Tool 1 which I like more.
