Marbles Sunfish White Smooth Bone 18

I won't lie, for £20 I wasn't expecting much, but I must say I'm actually quite impressed with this little blade. First off it's a beefy little thing and feels relatively substantial in hand, the lock up is stronger than expected and sounded like a little gunshot the first few times I had her open. Also both blades were decently sharp out of the box. Overall I'd say if you're on the fence, you shouldn't be!

The knife looked very pretty with good weight, fit and finish. The transitions were all smooth. But - try to open it, and oh dear! The backspring had seized to the extent that the only way to open it was with another tool. Foolishly I tried, and suffered a nasty injury in return. Despite this Heinnie said the knife wasn't faulty and I must pay to return it. A very painful and disappointing experience all round, which could have been solved by somebody checking the knife before sending it. I noticed this was the last one in stock, so there is no way of telling how long this had been languishing (and seizing up) on a shelf prior to despatch.

Great service, received it quickly in the Netherlands. The knife is great quality, handlematerial as well as bladesteel. I really enjoy this knife!

Don't trust the pictures, it's a made in China knife made as cheaply as possible. Unfinished grinding marks all over, misshapen bolsters, the large blade(scratches all over) can only just be opened and the small one was bent and I had to get out with pliers. If you're up to finishing it yourself as I had to, make a project out of it. Such a shame since it's such a good design, just wish there was some effort put into finishing it before I had to. I'd like to say "you get what you pay for" but I wouldn't pay £5 for it let alone £18 when you count shipping. Sincerely hope this is just a one off.

The pictures dont do this knife justice, it feels beautiful in the hand, the bone has little flecks running through it & some slight variation in the bone colour, but this just adds to the charm of this knife. The build quality is outstanding for the price , It's hard to believe that this is UK legal carry, I would recommend this knife to anyone.

I ordered this on the Thursday morning & expected it to arrive Friday, (as is the usual from HH, but didn't come, waited in Saturday, still no show, didn't come till Monday, probably down to R.M. as is was posted 24 hr delivery. Other than that, the knife is amazing value for money, no gaps in the back, transitions from bolsters are nice, blades have no play & closure is tight, the grind is more to one side, but not a deal breaker. Dont expect these to be pure white, they are made of cow bone, so will have little flex & some slight yellowing , but I think these add to the charm & make them look vintage,. All in all, very pleased with my purchase, well worth £17 . I mean a pack of cigs is £11 nowadays.
