Second one Ive bought. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Excellent - versatile and intelligent bit of kit.
This is a great little product but needs to be used on something that has a reasonable amount of blade on show. I bought it for an antique penknife but it didnt slip on far enough to feel secure and if it was put on fully then the blade didnt seat all the way back in which causes havoc with OCD. Will be putting it to use on an alternative blade which im yet to buy
my interest in folding knives is fairly traditional/ conservative. i bought the stud to fit my mercator. it doesnt work. my other knives all have heavier springs. the stud itself is very good. it stays fast on the blade but whether it will work depends on the opening mechanism, the geometry... arthritis in my hands doesnt help. heinnie's service...only ever been impeccable
Good stuff. If you've got a knife without a thumb stud that you'd like to be able to open one-handed, this works. It is a little expensive for what it is, but not for the end result.
Put one on my Buck 112, already one of my favourite knives, to allow me to open it with one hand. It makes things much easier and more efficient at work, where I use knives a lot. The Buck 112 is going to be hard to beat for me now.
Excellent item. Easy to fit, works perfectly. If you've got a very thin blade stock (opinel/SAK) then you might need to add a spacer to even up the left/right bias. If you're considering buying one, just do. If you can't fit it on one knife they'll be another in your collection that will.
well made piece of kit which like others have said just looks as if it's always been there, makes my EKA Swede a great one-handed opener now.
