Bought recently for planned solo camping trips next year, so I haven't used it yet although I did fill it with boiling water to check for leaks, no problems. The smallest kettle in the range at 0.6 litres, but this is still a generous two mugs, and plenty for a single person in the woods. Smaller to carry and quicker to boil than a larger one. I went for the stainless version thinking it would be a bit tougher and looking round the build quality does seem very good with fully welded seams, no rivets to leak. If it performs as good as it looks then I would well recommend it. Brilliant service from Heinnie as always.
Even this more compact version of the famous Kelly Kettle takes up quite a bit of room in your pack, but if you can spare the room, it's fun to use, and boils water REALLY fast. Well built, and will undoubtedly last a long time.
I love using this for making a couple of drinks. It boils very quickly and fuel is everywhere in the woods. The ss version is a big improvement over my old aluminium version, it's more solid and doesn't leak and extinguish the fire like the old version! The base is a little on the small side when you use the hobo additional part. You have to keep on top of the base holes being kept clear and removing ash etc. or the fire starves itself. The bag is still a bit weak, especially along the seams. Still love it, my jetfoil has been retired again!
