The Rick Hinderer XM-18 is known the world over as one of the toughest tactical folders regardless of your mission. Rick Hinderer's focus when designing the XM-18 was a no nonsense tactical tool ready for the simplest cutting tasks to high speed low drag operations.
The Rick Hinderer XM-18 "Slicer" uses a S45VN Stainless Steel blade. The G10 handle scales are textured to allow a secure grip even in the wet and in this verison the opposite scale, which incorporates the frame lock, is made from stonewashed bronze. The 3D texture of the G10 is designed to flow liquids (such as sweat, oils, etc.) away from your skin and into the valleys of the texture. The pocket clip can be transferred for tip-up or tip-down carry.
The thumb stud allows for straightforward one-hand opening. Altogether a very practical, tough folding knife.
