Reflecting the best of its Finnish heritage, the Cold Steel Finn Bear is ideal for use in the great outdoors, and makes an efficient utility knife as well!

Its sub-zero quenched German 4116 Stainless blade is hollow ground and given an RC of 56-57 so it will hold its edge well while remaining easy to re-sharpen in the field.

The Finn Bear has a sturdy point for piercing and plenty of belly for skinning and carving. It’s big and strong enough to skin large game, yet thin and delicate enough to slice a tomato or cut an apple.

The durable Polypropylene handle has a modified diamond cross-section that will fit your hand like a glove and accommodate a wide variety of gripping methods. To carry your knife safely and conveniently in the field, Cold Steel include a pouch-style versatile low profile polymer sheath that can be easily worn on a belt or tucked into your pack or tackle box.

    Better than expected!

Wasn't expecting much for £15, but needed another knife for fishing to go along side my Mora. Surprisingly comfy grip and a nice edge too....

    Does the job

Posted by SEAN DOYLE-BURNETT on 2nd Aug 2021

Morakniv has competition, not in price maybe but certainly in quality. This is a stunning little Bear 'Cub'. It has a great triangular-shaped handle which is far more comfortable than it sounds, the blade is excellent and sharp, ready to work and with gloves or not it's very, very unlikely you will lose grip of it.

Fantastic blade for a tiny outlay

Posted by Jon T on 21st Jun 2021

Really nice knife, particularly when it costs about the same as a pack of fags! This is essentially Cold Steel's answer to the Mora I guess. The blade comes razor sharp and it holds its edge nicely. The grip will be a bit Marmite for some due to its shape, but I found it really comfortable, and the raised 'fin-like' surface makes it really grippy. Does it need a guard? Personally I think it's fine without, but some users would probably benefit from one as a safety feature. I would happily pick this up instead of one of my many Moras, which is high praise indeed. Well done, Cold Steel! Awesome service from Heinnie as always!

    It’s a gift

Posted by Tamas Holecz on 24th May 2021

Hi! I bought this knife as a gift so I can’t tell anything about the knife itself but all I can say is the service and the delivery was fantastic! Thank you! I really recommend this company! Kind regards, Tamas

    Cold Steel Fin Bear

Posted by Vaughan Ellis on 30th Dec 2020

Cold Steel's version of a knife in the Mora pattern. Vgood knife for the price, blade takes & hold a good edge, ideal as a general purpose/camp knife. as others have said you'll either love or hate the handle.

This is a marmite knife you will either love the handle shape or not I love it There is no finger guard to stop the full use of the blade when using on a chopping board Simple all plastic handle Polished blade Easy to sharpen and holds and holds an edge At the price doesn't break the bank

    Great knife, better service

Posted by Ben on 18th Oct 2018

This is a really nice knife. Steel seems decent, came shaving sharp. Finish on the knife is great. The sheath is also really slim and sleek, especially when compared to a mora, which is a similar size knife. Great to chuck in a backpack. The grip shape is a little weird but when I got used to it it feels great. Also as an afterthought, Royal Mail screwed up my delivery so I contacted support. A replacement was dispatched and received in less than 24 hours of me submitting my issue. That is some stellar customer service!
