Posted by Raferoo on 26th Aug 2020

The HH editions are all good and well priced. I think i've bought them all in the last few years

This is a lovely little simple knife , good action, mirror finish and great comfortable scales

It'll be in my pocket for a few weeks now to try it out for every day

So glad they brought this one back, great quality every day pocket knife. Sharp out of the box, smooth action, great budget purchase, no complaints. Great overnight HH service as always.

    Lovely little knife

Posted by Ian on 21st Aug 2020

Quick delivery as always so thank you HH. Nice light little knife that sits in the hand very comfortably, and is razor Sharpe straight out of the box. Nice little EDC with the bonus of a glass breaker on the end. Already used when walking and camping, and I can see it having many uses. Recommended.

    Wonderful EDC knife.

Beautiful design, comfortable grip, the knife fits perfectly inside you pocket, smooth opening and closing action and the blade came shaving sharp right out of the packaging. Overall a very nice and stylish knife, highly recommend it to everyone.

    Little cracker !

Posted by MushoomMan on 16th Aug 2020

Great little EDC, red scales make it inoffensive in use, like SAK it's a tool not a weapon. Glass breaker is a bonus I hope I never need, but glad it's there. Usual fast delivery.

A good, UK legal - ‘Every Day Carry’! :)

Posted by Gus on 30th Jul 2020

A simple, yet stylish and practical pocket knife, that is superior to the Victorinox you had as a child. The G10 scales give a good grip and also has nice lines. The HH customer experience is first rate.
Overall, I would recommend the Tech 1 or 2, however also consider the ‘mini’ key ring versions - especially, if buying for a ‘gift’...

    Excellent knife for the price

Posted by Oli on 30th Jul 2020

Very impressed... This knife is priced and built to compete with a Victorinox.

The scale are nice and prevent slipping, strong spring, fit and finish spot on. Sharpness is OK but you would expect to take care of a new knife's edge out of the box.

The only criticism is that the polished blade is a fingerprint magnet but that is the price to pay for a lovely mirror finish.

    One of my Favourites

Posted by Tanvir on 25th Jul 2020

I've had this knife from the last numbered release Heinnie Haynes did. From then I can say that its been on my person everyday for at least 1.5 years .

I don't own many knives but out of all of them this is probably the most elegant looking of the ones I have. The G10 scales feel more high quality than most others I have felt and the red is a nice colour, makes it stand out whilst also keeping it looking friendly. I have used it mainly to open packaging and boxes, once in a while using it on apples and the edge is still good. Out of the box it was razor sharp.

The shape of the blade is really nice as well, its about 1cm longer than a 98mm SAK but the reason I prefer it is it just bigger but not too big. Like a small paring knife. The steel is definitely stainless as well, i've left it out whilst using another knife for the last 6 months and the blade body and edge are as I left them. There does seem to be a little bit of rust in the crease of the nail nick but after half a year I was expecting there might have been more.

If anyone is looking to get a tech tool 1 I would highly recommend this, especially in terms of looks as Boker has put their logo on the scale on the others and it does not look as clean as this.

    Superb Uk legal EDC

Posted by Chris on 24th Jul 2020

Excellent service from Heinnie as always.

My usual edc is a SAK spartan or Spyderco UKPK , the UKPK is brilliant but tends to atrract attention, the SAK is a great edc but lacks a pocket clip and i can count on one hand the times i have used anything other than the blade in the past year.

The tech tool 1 looks as benign as a SAK, has a blade which is hair shaving sharp out of the box, mirror polished, hollow ground, good spring which opens with ease yet snaps with authority, strong pocket clip which can be changed from tip down to tip up, and a glass breaker which i hope to never have to use but doesnt get in the way or detract from normal use, it looks and feels well made and at this price is great value.
