IT'S BACK!! The Boker Plus Heinnie® Tech Tool 1 is one of our favourites here at Heinnie®. It's a simple design with one Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade and a Heinnie® red, G10 handle. There's a pocket clip too and a glass breaker on one end. The blade proudly displays the Heinnie® "H" logo. The blade has no lock and is under three inches long so you are able to carry in public at your discretion.

Nice little knife but nothing exciting about it.
Not a bad little folding knife and Uk legal.
The BOKER PLUS HEINNIE® TECH TOOL 1 is a well put together tool and is comfortable in the hand. The red colour is not too bright, which is good. The blade is good, razor sharp right out of the box. I was grateful to be able to switch the pocket clip round, as I prefer a tip-up carry. The only problem with this knife is the slip joint. It is comparatively weak and has no halfway stop like similar slip joint knives from Spyderco or CRKT. There is no finger choil with this design either. All this means that you have to be super aware of these shortfalls at all times when using it. If it folds unexpectedly, you will be visiting A&E! This is a knife who’s design will offend no one, much like a Swiss Army Knife, so would be a safe bet for a U.K. EDC. Just mind your fingers.
Great all round pocket knife. Super sharp straight out of the box. All materials high quality. Red handle very nice. Feels good in the hand with a smooth opening action. Pocket clip is sturdy and works well. Currently being used as my box opener and shredder of choice due to lockdown. Will be used as a weekend hike pocket knife.
Firstly, and not surprisingly, the normal legendary outstanding service from Heinnie. I had one of these knives a couple of years ago, and really loved it. I have lots of small folding UK legal knives such as SAKs, but this knife was my favourite. Last year I was in New York, and I had it in my day pack. We were queueing to visit the Rockefeller Centre. Little did I know when we got to the front of the queue they had Airport style security and scanners. They scanned my bag and even though it was a perfectly legal knife they said I had a choice, come back without it, or ditch it. The wife and kids gave me daggers at the prospect of rejoining the queue for a couple of hours, so agonisingly I literally had to toss it in a bin, a bin I might add that was full of other poor folks knives. I always wanted to replace it when they were back in stock. This is a great little knife. Came out of the box very sharp. The red G10 scales not only look great, but the ergonomics are good, feels great in the hand. Decent sturdy pocket clip which can be either tip up or tip down. I love the shape of the blade, much as I am a fan of SAKs, I prefer the more substantial blade of the Tech Tool. For a great looking , well designed , UK Legal, small EDC folder you won't be disappointed with one of these, for less than twenty quid you can't go wrong.
Brilliant!
'I've had this knife from the last numbered release Heinnie Haynes did. From then I can say that its been on my person everyday for at least 1.5 years . I don't own many knives but out of all of them this is probably the most elegant looking of the ones I have. The G10 scales feel more high quality than most others I have felt and the red is a nice colour, makes it stand out whilst also keeping it looking friendly. I have used it mainly to open packaging and boxes, once in a while using it on apples and the edge is still good. Out of the box it was razor sharp. The shape of the blade is really nice as well, its about 1cm longer than a 98mm SAK but the reason I prefer it is it just bigger but not too big. Like a small paring knife. The steel is definitely stainless as well, i've left it out whilst using another knife for the last 6 months and the blade body and edge are as I left them. There does seem to be a little bit of rust in the crease of the nail nick but after half a year I was expecting there might have been more. If anyone is looking to get a tech tool 1 I would highly recommend this, especially in terms of looks as Boker has put their logo on the scale on the others and it does not look as clean as this.
A simple, yet stylish and practical pocket knife, that is superior to the Victorinox you had as a child. The G10 scales give a good grip and also has nice lines. The HH customer experience is first rate. Overall, I would recommend the Tech 1 or 2, however also consider the ‘mini’ key ring versions - especially, if buying for a ‘gift’...
