Yet again amazing service by HH ordered at 3pm same day I ordered the bk2 at 11 am and it arrived next morning amazing...The bk9 if you want a big blade do it all knife again you can't go with a bk9 the sheath is good but again I will get a azwelke custom kydex sheath sent from states in new yr.. The knife sharp out the box a very solid do it all big blade I will be paring it with either the bk14 or bk16 not sure yet...again for the price it's an amazing knife that you won't beat.

    Lovely big chopper

Great tool, very sharp out of the box and no bends/imperfections as per the other reviewers experience. A large, practical, no-nonsense knife. Must say I'm a little disappointed with the sheath although it's tough enough for general use and functions 100% as intended with some potential for modification & refinement.

    KA-BAR BECKER BKR9

Posted by Mark Stringfellow on 11th Sep 2010

Slightly lighter than i was expecting with a taper down to a very fine edge indeed thus very sharp out the box! maybe to finer edge for serious abuse, but otherwise its like having a large mora! only negative, it has a slight bend in the blade! not sure if this is a one off or not.
