Lovely little knife and great service (as ever)!

Wasn't looking for a new knife, but came across this and decided to purchase. My first Antonini knife, and impressed wtih the quality and finish. The knife was sharp out of the box - certainly sharp enough to pare off some biltong - and a little bit of work got it sharper still. The American walnut handle is nice, though the finish can be improved by some judicious use of sandpaper and some Danish oil or similar. Service from HH, as ever, was superb.

Old Bear Biltong Knife

Bought this to make up the numbers, and am bowled over by it. Stunning value for money, and as sharp out of the box as any knife I’ve ever bought. The thick blade and simple locking make it perfect for, yes, slicing biltong, and my partner has decreed that it will stay in our kitchen and be used for that purpose! I may have to buy another for general use.
