Andre de Villiers is a South African designer, maker, who has an almost obsessive sense of quality. Nothing leaves his workshop until absolutely perfect.
The Impi Mother of Pearl Damascus is a stunning example of his beautiful work. It is a tough folder despite its looks and is legal to carry in the UK due to the non-locking blade under three inches long.
The combination of handle and blade is what sets it apart however. The handle scales are specially selected Mother of Pearl precisely embedded into steel liners and bolsters. The blade is Damascus steel in a stunning pattern. It is etched with the "de Villiers" signiature.
There is also a lanyard hole at the end of the tang to attach a lanyard of your choice.
