Description

Our US-Made 550 Patterned Paracord is a must have, great for camping, hiking, military, survival, etc. A great addition to any survival kit / pack.

This excellent-quality paracord has a breaking strain of 550 lbs (250kg), so it can take a fair bit of use and abuse. With a kern-mantle design, the outer woven sheath protects the stranded inner core. The inner strands can also be used as a lighter cord, shold the need arise. This rope has almost endless uses, from hammocking to lashing.

Our paracord comes from either Atwood or Marbles - it's the exact same cord, with some production runs being Marbles-branded, others as Atwood.

    Eye Candy?

    Not as vivid as I would have liked, the photo looks brighter than the real thing. Having said that it came along with two other bundles (50ft) secured with an elastic band and a covering of thin plastic wrapping. The Candy Snake (100ft) came with a genuine Atwood Rope Mfg. wrapper band that stated "550 Paracord 100ft. 7 Strand core." I checked and all the strands were there. 200ft of 550 Paracord in a package small enough to fit through a letterbox. Between HH, a certain bushcraft store and Amazon I will soon be well stocked for a winter of "Man Knitting", oh all-right, making lanyards and other stuff. The genuine article speedily delivered from HH as usual.

    Had a chance to use this over the weekend, really quite impressed. Used it on several tasks around camp shelter building and other jobs very strong & well made RECOMMENDED !!
