The Voxsteed Nightshade is inspired by the Shilin cutter, a knife design originating in Taiwan and Japan around the mid 1800s. It features a full flat ground leaf shape blade, with a pointy negative angled tip. It has proven to be a highly effective tool for many years.
The handle is made from black micarta with skeletonized steel liners tucked inside to improve the strength of the handle without adding too much weight.
The pivot holds caged ceramic ball bearings for silky smoothness and a fine-tuned detent for results in a snappy action. Purposefully placed jimpings on the ricasso and the spine enable confident and secured control over the knife in use.
