NEXTORCH is proud to announce another Pro’s Light member - the first NEXTORCH medical flashlight, Dr. K3.

The initiative kick started when a customer who also happens to be a doctor requested a “perfect doctors light” from the guys at Nextorch. So they started the process, during which they surveyed more than 100 doctors in order to quantify the characteristics of this particular light. After 3 years of meticulous research and development, Dr. K3 is the final answer.

Equipped by light colour full spectrum daylight white 5000 Kelvin with CRI RA >90% (Color Rendering Index over 90%) revealing over 90% of the subject detail, and a photobiological safety of blue light hazard exempted RG0 rating, Dr. K3 has met the challenge and finally made its debut to enlighten medical professionals all over the world.

    Excellent Replacement For Disposable Penligts

Posted by JB on 9th Feb 2017

Wanted a replacement for disposable penlights which never work when you need them to, a fair amount of research led to the Dr.K3. Seems really well made, excellent finish. Superb bright beam without being excessive. Crisp beam which doesn't 'flood'. Hoping it lives up to the hype!

    Not just for doctors!

Posted by MGP on 1st Jun 2016

Let me start by saying I am not a Doctor, although I have done my share of sutures and removing foreign objects from peoples bodies, but I digress, the point being this is great as an all-round edc flashlight as well as being ideal for docs. It is wonderfully compact and throws a very round and precise beam, obviously its not got the laser beam output of other flashlights but it is great to have with you, also you must have had one of those moments where you need to shine a torch on a small component only to be blinded by the reflection, well this is a great deal better. So if you need a very small compact edc flashlight which does not set fire to everything you shine it on. voila!

    An excellent Diagnostic Penlight

Posted by Doctor Highman on 20th May 2016

for several years, I have been a user (and disposer) of diagnostic penlight torches. However, I was becoming frustrated at the necessity to throw away the lamp after each examination. In this lamp, I believe that I've found optical nirvana. The colour is excellent, the brightness just right, and the cleanability is ideal. The manufacturer has clearly looked at what's required from a medical flashlight, and designed this model to suit the need of any practitioner who needs to carry out an ocular examination during their daily rounds. Well recommended
