This Timber Jack leans into refinement while keeping the familiar slipjoint format intact. Produced by Jack Wolf Knives and designed by Tracy LaRock, it’s a thoughtful blend of traditional pocket knife shape and modern materials.
The Blue Canyon and Maple Valley Richlite scales give a layered, organic look with excellent durability and stability, feeling smooth yet secure in hand. Polished stainless steel integral bolsters and liners elevate the finish, matched with polished Torx hardware for a clean, cohesive build.
A hollow ground 154CM blade with a belt satin finish offers dependable cutting performance and easy upkeep, while the polished spring delivers smooth, consistent walk and talk. Elegant without being precious, this Timber Jack suits everyday pocket carry for those who appreciate materials that do the talking quietly.
Designer Tracy LaRock was Raised hunting and working on a dairy farm - later serving as a U.S. Marine mortarman and Texas Army National Guard soldier. He has relied on knives for much of his life, and his unique experiences shaped his understanding of what truly matters in design. After taking up knifemaking in 2008 and learning from experienced makers, he developed clean, traditional patterns such as the Timber Jack that emphasise function, durability, and honest materials. That blend of lifelong knife use and hands-on making is what gives his designs lasting value.
