    iProtec Pro Poplight

Posted by Jonesy. on 23rd Mar 2019

Started using one of these after i lost a Fenix E16 EDC. Had a useless wire key ring attachment for an expensive little key ring torch. In the real world you don't need up to 700 lumens. If you just need to see where your going at close quarters it's more than adequate.

    Useless in the real world

Posted by Steve on 16th Feb 2019

Ok a light comes on, but this is done by removing the useful attachment?? Why is this a good idea?? The only metal thing that the magnet has been useful to attach to is the car or fridge, which kinda have lights already. The lantern works as a lantern if you have a stable surface or fridge or car nearby, otherwise useless. Like outdoors or camping. The flashlight works. But if you use it in the dark the light that leaks through the lantern sheash blinds you. And if you focus it then it gets waaay worse. Also the batteries are poky annoying, expensive and hard to replace watch-style batteries. This thing sucks and any positive or 5 reviews must be paid surely. As long as it stays cheap enough for people to buy without thinking then they will continue but I see no valid reason for this product to exist without extensive redesign. Dont waste your pennies!

    Handy

I got one of these free with an order. I really like it, for the price you can't go wrong. Unfortunately you can't hang it up to use as a lantern because you have to pull the carabiner out to turn on the light. It's also a bit to big to go on a set of keys in my opinion. Good little light.

    OK but of limited use.

Posted by Timothy on 2nd Dec 2018

Interesting little item. OK as an emergency light to attach to a keychain. Would be useful to be able to hang it up to use as a lantern but unfortunately you have to pull the carabiner off to make it work!

Does exactly what it says, fairly bright and super easy to use. Would definitely recommend for anyone for the price. Amazing product

    Disappointing

Posted by Big Welsh Paul on 18th Oct 2018

Bought a couple of these to keep on my key chains. 1st one put into pocket and when I got it out 5 minutes later it had come unscrewed. Easy to fix but shouldn't happen. The chain broke after about 3 weeks use. The light is quite good though.

    Not Mecarmy.

Posted by Andrew on 10th Oct 2018

I don't know what I expected for the money but it was better than this. I bought a Mecarmy little key ring torch for the Mrs and despite the money difference I expected comparable light. It is not comparable. The light is low and I will give the two I have bought away as Christmas pressents to get rid of them. Quite disappointed.
