The Hogue EX-F01 Tanto G10 is the ultimate field tool packed with features. Its thick A2 carbon tool steel blade and hefty construction means it is ready for all tasks. The broad tanto point in front of the false edge provides strength and versatility. It will just as easily cope with battoning and larger chopping jobs and with the unsharpened but serrated "false" edge on the back of the blade creating grooves for in wood is a breeze.
The 3D sculpted G10 scales provides the user with a comfortable grip while performing strenuous, long cutting activities even in the wet or with gloves on. To complement the grip, the blade includes a serrated thumb ramp and finger detent in the frame.
The EX-F01 also has an integrated hidden compartment in the frame which is accessed by using the supplied wrench to store vital survival equipment such as tinder. This version of the EX-F01 has a 14cm (5.5") black coated blade. The sheath is Kydex with belt straps and Molle straps wrapped around the body of the sheath allowing Molle carry.
