The Extrema Ratio ONTOS is a pure field knife, tough and heavyweight despite its compact size. The serrated segment on the back of the blade is meant as a back-up, never to be caught without a sharp edge ready for use. The blade is BOHLER N690 STEEL (58HRC) with an MIL-C-13924 coating and burnished finish.
The handle is Kraton which has a rubbery feel making long use very comfortable.
The MOLLE compatible nylon thigh sheath stays on even during strenuous activity.
