Awesome even for beginners
This arrived Today. I have put a decent edge on a 25yr old Victorinox chefs knife, two Vnox paring knives, a Global santoku and paring knife, (i know they are factory honed to a finer angle than 20°, still got them sharp,) a budget brand santoku and honed a very sharp edge on an Opinel folding knife. This probably isn't the best thing for kitchen knives, but it did a really good job and was easy to use. I've never been great at sharpening but this made it easier and a little therapeutic. The bigger knives were a little tricky but slow and steady got it done. Glad i got this. Bargain for what it does.
