This blade likes to bite
I’ve had the SE edge version of the UKPK Salt for almost a month now and I’ve carried and used it daily . It’s expensive for a slipjoint . The grind on the SE is very aggressive and thus knife has bitten me more than any other I’ve ever owned . And I’ve owned a lot including a Harpy and Merlin . This one loves to bite . It’s a single bevel SE grind and is a fantastic cutter . Literally rips through material . It’s not good for draw cuts or pull cuts so I can’t recommend this for cutting your apples . The grind likes to bite deeply and wander due to the chisel grind . I love it though but I’ve paired mine with a SAK . It’s not as good as the Heinnie G10 but it beats the S110V . Also easy to sharpen too . I love it but it needs to be treated with care .
