Description

It's back! The return of a legend.

For years, Heinnie fans have asked, hoped, and waited for the return of this true classic. The Spyderco UK Penknife G10 wasn’t just one of our exclusives — it became a legend, our best-ever seller, and a firm favourite among collectors and everyday users alike. Now, after far too long, it’s back.

An exclusive is a special configuration of an established Spyderco model. Although multiple runs may be made, as its name implies, this, the Spyderco C94GRD UK Penknife Red G10 CPM S30V Exclusive is unique to Heinnie Haynes and only available through us.

Spyderco developed the UK Penknife after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of folding knives with locking blades. Its refined design combines the defining features of Spyderco’s revolutionary CLIPIT knives with an improved, non-locking, notch joint mechanism. The resulting hybrid, known as a SLIPIT, elevates the functionality of trhe traditional non-locking pocket knife while remaining socially and legally friendly.

Made in the USA at Spyderco’s factory in Golden, Colorado, this exclusive expression of the UKPK showcases a leaf shaped blade crafted from premium CPM S30V particle metallurgy stainless steel. The plain edge blade is full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and is proudly laser engraved with the Heinnie ‘H’.

Not to be outdone, the handle of this knife features distinctive red G10 scales with a non slip peel ply texture. They complement the jimping (textured grooves) on the blade's thumb ramp and index finger choil to ensure a positive grip and outstanding control during use.

A truly unique expression of an iconic Spyderco design, this exclusive UK Penknife is sure to appeal to both end users and discriminating collectors alike.

    SPYDERCO HEINNIE HAYNES® UKPK G10

Posted by Shaun Fox on 28th Oct 2025

This is a lovely UK legal carry EDC knife, overall the knife looks and feels great, build quality is to a high standard. The red G10 scales are a great addition, nice and grippy, I’m not a fan of the fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales I think they feel cheap…each to their own I know. This knife also has the full length back spring, which I prefer to the half spring that some in the range have, this is based purely on appearance. It’s good to see this version back at HH, I already have the Spyderco Urban Heinnie® edition and would love to see the Spyderco (UKPK) Heinnie® with a drop point blade make a return. Usual great service from HH.

    Spyderco HEINNIE HAYNES® UK G10

Posted by Igor Zaitsev on 10th Oct 2025

bought this small knife mainly because of the strict knife laws here in the UK. Back home, I’m used to working with full-sized knives with locking blades — they always felt much safer and gave me more confidence in hand. In my country, such locking knives are perfectly legal, and incidents of knife attacks are almost unheard of — perhaps that says something. This knife, however, is beautifully made and finished with great attention to detail. It does feel a bit delicate, but overall, it’s a fine piece of craftsmanship. I just wish I could use something a little sturdier without worrying about the law.

A superb pocket knife. I'm absolutely delighted with it, brilliant on my allotment, opening sacks, trimming nettles etc. Now please return the drop point in S30V too!

Great knife. I already own one of the standard ones but the G10 handle on the Heinnie exclusive really takes it to the next level. Razor sharp out of the box. Lovely looking UK legal bit of kit. Nice job Heinnie.

    HH UKPK

Posted by Jim on 20th Sep 2025

Think I have had most UKPK's: including Titanium, drop points and various handles and steels. This is the best. I have had mine since 2020 and is still my most carried.

    Excellent UK legal pocket knife

Posted by Alex on 6th Jan 2024

I have an original UKPK in S30V from around 2005. It’s still my daily carry 19 years later, and it looks new. I’ve nearly pulled the trigger on the Manix XL but the UKPK is just a superb pocket fit, it’s so light, it’s small but capable and I use it for multiple simple tasks that would otherwise have me walking to a draw for scissors or leaving until later. I have a Leatherman Wave from 2000, and more recently a Skeletool (from HH), but the Spyderco still gets the most use. Easy to deploy, easy to maintain. Excellent build quality. It’s over doubled in price since I bought mine but it’s still worth every penny. I think it’ll be the perfect birthday present for my boy when he’s old enough.
