The handle has a rubberised feel which makes it very comfortable to use and provides a secure grip. It is supplied with a ballistic polyester belt sheath with a detatchable storage pouch and sharpening stone.

Feels very sturdy and comfortable. Slight gap is visible where the blade meets the handle but doesn't impact use.

Poor quality

I was surprised to see this on a S&W knife but the workmanship seems quite poor. The item was brand new but arrived with a chip on the blade. In addition the guard is made badly (one can see a gap between the blade and guard). Not something I could recommend to anyone.

Landed Saturday and first impression is USMC and Kabar at a fraction of a price, looks every bit the military knife its inspired by. Only given light use breaking down boxes and hasnt effected the edge at all.
