It is very easy to run out of superlatives to describe the sheer brilliance of the Rockstead knife.
Their design is uniquely Japanese but it is their blades that set them apart. Forged from ZDP189 stainless steel, which is a very hard material, the blade of the Ritsu is sharpened and polished with painstaking, zen-like, devotion by hand. The result is an edge with no perceivable deviations even under a powerful microscope.
The blade alone is cause for exclamation but the rest of the knife is just as exceptional. The handle is wood micarta, which is an extremely strong resilient material, with a blue anodised Titanium hand guard. Every part of a Rockstead knife is meticulously produced and assembled with microscopic precision.
The Rockstead Ritsu is supplied with a leather sheath. Each knife has its own unique production number.
