The Maxpedition Valence is a 10 litre tech sling pack - a very modern small messenger bag.
In overall size, it's about the same dimensions as a ream of copier paper - in fact, an A4 pad fits snugly inside this sling bag. It's designed for either left-or right-side carry, and the strap can be reconfigured using a nifty split buckle so that the bag can be carried in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.
Inside is extremely well padded, with hook+loop flaps for securing your 13" laptop. Inside the lid is another zippered compartment. On the front of the lid, a fully opening clamshell pocket has a multi-divided compartment with space for phones, pens, notebooks.
The part worn next to your back is well padded, with two full-length zippers which give access to a full-width compartment between your back and the contents of the bag.
All zips, pulls and buckles are supremely well engineered. The main compartment zipepr can be locked together if you need to secure your contents.
