Nice and fit for purpose but finish on one side of handle on the one I received was poor. There was a gap between the handle piece and the ferrule. This had been filled with little bits of handle which fell out almost immediately. Does not effect its performance but if bought for appearance I'd have returned.
Usual great Hennie service, next day delivery. As an amateur cook I have a good selection of quality kitchen knives. This does not match them. But it's razor sharp out of the box and costs a quarter of the price of my other knives. It's ideal for its intended purpose, a foldable food prep knife for backpacking, rambling and general camping. So much easier to pack one these than trying to carry a kitchen knife from home with something wrapped around the blade, or making do with a sheath. This is the third Cuisine Iin the range I have bought and is the best. The others were not as sharp and I found difficult to sharpen and keep sharp.
keep this with my camping food prep kit and its brillinat, works like a cheifs knife I have home. cheers Heinnie staff excellent service
I went on reviews on site and from KCTUK site too on this knife as everyone said how much value for money it was.......well that wasnt the case for me :( Upon opening it...... it was cheap from the start! Could not lock it......... it was marked up with scratches which you would expect from a second hand knife and not a new one....... the screw heads were all rounded off............ The blade itself was shaving sharp and looked nice and a very decent size...... but that was its only strong point. Sent back for store credit......... Dissapointed in the knife.......... Not Heinnies fault though as have had many quality knives from here before...... rarely run into a problem.
so this blade is so pretty and long. works smooth and dependable . used for minor butchery and meat prep. recommended for something stylish and practical
First of all the service from Heinnie was first class as always which is why I buy all my knives from them next day delivery and emails keeping me updated on my order. This is a really nice knife for the money that cannot be faulted, blade locks up nicely largeish gap between the liners but I assume Magnum have done this for a reason feels nice in hand and feels pretty stable, processes all for thrown at it too.
If this knife cost £30, I'd be hard pushed to fault it, but it didn't cost much more than a tenner, so I can only cover it with praise.
Daughter bought this for my birthday. Keeps it edge and sharpens well. Have a very very expensive set of japanese knives which have fallen into disuse. For just over ten pounds this has to be a bargain
