Inspired by the traditional Sicilian ‘Rasolino’ of the mid-nineteenth century, the Extrema Ratio T-Razor design mimics that of the popular ‘rasoio’ (razor) shaped knives that became popular after 1908 when a law was passed which prohibited the carrying of knives with sharp tips and encouraged the production of knives with cut-off points. The Extrema Ratio T-Razor has a 10cm blade of Bohler N690 steel with either black or satin finish.

beautiful knife, very smooth open and close, pretty little weight for its size. No doubt I could shave with it but I wouldn't lol just another brilliant piece to my collection. Thank you to hh for getting it out to me quickly as usual

Extrema Ratio quality on a budget.

Extrema Ratio class this as one of their lightweight folders, but it far beefier than the majority of folders in this price range. An exceptional knife.

My First Extrema Ratio added to my growing collection. I have many brands in my collection from various Cold Steel to Spyderco to Rockstead, just so you know what I am comparing against. Sorry, not all purchased from here :-( ... Anyway, Build quality is amazing, no blade play in any direction, perfectly centered, lovely matte black finish on the handles (I have the satin blade version). action is quite smooth except for a notch in the tang designed to prevent the blade closing on your fingers when closing the knife. There is also a big screw visible in the pictures that i presume you can use to adjust the tightness of the blade with a separate smaller screw that keeps it in place once the desired resistance is achieved. Sharpness is astounding, sharpest thing I have in my collection, even sharper than my Rockstead Chou. tested it on some arm hair and the hairs pretty much jumped out of the way to avoid the blade. My first experience with Bohler N690 as well so cant comment on edge retention yet. I have read that its like VG-10 on steroids. I have yet to shave properly with it but im sure it will do the job judging by the arm hair test. Goes through paper and cardboard like there's nothing there, Tricky material like toilet paper and bubble wrap dont snag and tear, clean cuts through all. Not even my Rockstead could do that out of the box. I love the idea of a tactical razor, which is what drew me to this knife, and as such it does have a deep hollow grind like a traditional razor (not as deep but not far off). I'm not sure if it was intended to be used as an actual shaving tool or utility knife or ******, but with the blade being quite thin towards the edge I wouldn't want to use it for any tasks that require hacking/chopping. Then again you might wonder why you'd do anything like that with a folding knife anyway. Cant fault it one bit, and for bonus points, visually its so intimidating my girlfriend wont even touch it, in her eyes its scarier than my Spyderco Civilian.
