The Extrema Ratio Requiem is one of the lightest tactical fixed blades in the world. Weighing just 121g in its sheath it will sit on your pack and add barely anything to the weight of your kit whilst being one of your most precious items.

Despite its lack of weight its strength and durability is second to none. It has a full tang construction with a blade made from BöHLER N690 stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 58. The spear point blade has a false edge from mid blade to point.

The handle is Forprene which is a Vulcanised Thermoplastic Elastomer made to be extremely tough and resilient to the harshest of environments.

The sheath is made from Kydex and is designed to attach securely to any MOLLE system. There is also a very simple and highly effective quick release button allowing the user instant access when required.

It is available in three colours; black with a black blade, ranger green or desert both with satin blades.

    Slim Jim

Posted by Snake Plissken on 4th Aug 2019

This is a true tactical knife, very well suited to its intended purpose. However, as a collectors piece it is stylish and very well made, if a bit impractical for utility use. I have used mine for cutting chores while camping, and the slim handle can make forceful cutting tiring. The pay off is that this knife is very compact and light. Pair it with an axe and you actually turn a tacticool mall-ninja artifact into a capable cutting tool. As usual with Extrema Ratio, this light and slim blade looks gorgeous and mean at the same time; no one in the world can out-design the Italians, be it cars, knives or anything else. Unlike their cars, this knife is reliable! The steel is the usual that Extrema Ratio offer, N690. Its middle of the road performance generally, but Extrema Ratio definitely know how to get the best out of it. It has not great but certainly good enough edge retention, and is plenty tough. Sharpening is fairly easy too. To sum up, a stylish slim-Jim, and a lot more usuful than it looks.

    Excellent

Posted by KN on 23rd Aug 2018

i bought one in black. Gladly paid the extra bit for the coating. Very good solid knife, good size and sold locking in the sheath. it does rattle in the sheat however quite a bit. also the coating rubs off slowly from inserting in the sheath and drawing it but i guess your not supposed to play with it in and out all the time. it still holds up nicely though. Quality is excellent. solid feel throughout.

    not bad,but should be better

Posted by Shaun on 12th Jan 2018

received today. nice looking, sits in hand well, even with large hands is ok,but.... two things. 1- the sheath,a novel /functional release clip, which works well enough, but the fit! it rattles rather a lot.only a minor niggle some will say,but im sure some sort of constriction toward sheath end to prevent this wouldnt be to hard to sort during manufacture.not a terribly expensive knife, but dear enough to have niggles like this sorted . 2- its as blunt .... i know it is designed as a thrusting/stabbing blade, but on any new knife, would expect to pass the a4 paper cut test. nope.blunt as blunt can be. not too happy. so ,has potential to be a little cracker, but as it sits ,a rather overpriced piece, riding the extrema ratio name.would i have another??? not without physically handling first. good service from HH re delivery ,as always.
