Extremely well constructed
This machete is extremely well made and its weight and feel to the balance are perfect. The thick blade looks indestructible and its razor sharp straight out of the box. There a good video reviews of it being given a harsh testing on YouTube. It has a very robust black powder coating that is far superior to the lame spray paint jobs that other blade manufacturers use. I also own two other Condor machetes and half a dozen Cold steel blades. I would never buy a Cold Steel blade of this price range again, I tested their machetes that claim to be 440 steel, upon testing their flexibility the blades bent out of shape without much effort. They feel like they are more lead than steel. The 1055 steel blades Condor produce are far superior. Their finish is much nicer as well, the craftsmanship on both handle and blade is first class.
