Great EDC - just a little rough

Posted by Colin Ashworth on 4th Jul 2023

I couldn't help compare this to the Benchmade Proper. They have a similar look and both have great, slicey blades. The Saunter is slightly smaller and has a stronger back sprint than the Benchmade, however doesn't have a half-stop - so watch those fingers. The Saunter is a little messy around the back sprint, which isn't flush (front or back) with the liners when closed. When open the situation is improved slightly. No real gapping and the blade is dead centred - and comes super, super sharp. So, overall a great EDC and a great alternative to the Benchmade - just a little rough in places, hence the 4 stars...
