Description

Equipped with the genes of the successful Boker Plus Frelon, the French knifemakers Raphael Durand and Samuel Lurquin present the SamoSaur, the pocket-knife suitable for everyday use.

The special feature lies in the design of the slipjoint mechanism, which is called Cran Forcé. Here, a reinforced back spring presses permanently on the root of the blade and provides a solid resistance when opening and closing the knife. The clippoint blade made of D2 masters daily cutting tasks with aplomb and has a ricasso on the back of the blade as well as a gritty stonewash finish.

The contoured handle scales made of G10 provide a secure grip in any position and round off the tidy appearance of the Boker Plus SamoSaur beautifully. Supplied with a high-quality nylon pouch.

    Boker Plus SamoSaur. A cracking slipjoint knife! Really solid, a lovely shaped G10 handle. Looks good and feels good in hand. Very light at 95g. Nice D2 steel clip point blade. Just under 3 and a half inches with a beautiful stonewash finish. This enhances the blade's shape, swedge and grind. The knife and handle as a whole just looks lovely! A stunning non-locking EDC at a great price. Designed by Raphael Durand it has a very secure 'Cran Forcé' backspring for safe use. I love the sound as it engages and clicks out when opened. Another awesome Boker. Another fantastic piece of kit from Heinnie Haynes. Top job!!
