UPDATE: After leaving this in a drawer for 3 years finally got around to finishing it up. I used a very white, grainfree wood recovered from a Library cardfile divider. I discovered that the Bamboo from 'green' cotton buds fit the holes perfectly so I went for a clean, no frills look; no filework or etching, just a brass lanyard tube & a satin blade polish with 3 coats of Danish oil on the handle. The Bamboo has tiny holes down its length that look great. The blade sharpened up nicely & this has become a strong, practical, lightweight utility knife that could make a necker in a Kydex sheath. Worth the work - & the wait!
I've been a while away so I didn't know your company or products . This was a practice piece for a bigger, more expensive project . After receiving the drop.poiint would not hesitate to order anything from your site . I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid but I'm amazed. Good quality , beautifully finished and well worth every penny!
good service
This is OK for only £8 but there are 9 holes in the handle! You could forget the lanyard hole but you're still left with a lot of drilling as I don't see how you can leave any out without it looking odd. It'll make a Necker or just a Utility knife but I can't decide how to proceed. I'm leaning towards a disproportionately big project for a tiny blade with, maybe, red liners & spacers plus spine filework & some etching on the wide, hollow ground blade. It will be worth it in the end....won't it?!
