Lovely slim camp knife
I love the Viper Scout. It's something a bit different. I've had mine for just over a month now and have been out with it 3 times. While it's not a Bushcraft knife, i found I was able to do a most traditional camp tasks with it, even some basic carving. It will split wood, if you're into that sort of thing, though I wouldn't want to punish it too much. The handle scales are quite thin but the Rocky Mountain tread means that it is comfortable in the hand. I used mine to skin some small game and this is where it really shines (it's a bit overkill for a rabbit I will admit). The steel is easy to sharpen and the sheath is nice. I bought it because I like Tops knives and I wanted something that was a littler slimmer profile than the BOB. I have not been disappointed!
