The TOPS CUMA Tak-Ri 3.5 is not your typical kukri. In fact, one must understand what a Gurkha Kukri is to see the curve in its blade. The kukri originally spelled khukri or khukuri, is a curved Nepalese knife.
Once you hold the CUMA Tak-Ri, you will immediately agree it is "Hard To The Core". The handle is 1095 carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The handle is green canvas micarta with a Rocky Mountain tread perfect for long periods of intensive use. It is supplied with a Black Ballistic Nylon sheath.

Yet again Tops makes an amazing knife and puts it in p*ss poor sheath. Remember the old plastic hollow handles knives with saw back blades made from unhardenable steel ? It’s not much better so budget for getting something made. First time I’ve not been happy with HH! Very quick and efficient as always, however I told my wife it was pet supplies then she pointed out the big sticker saying it was a knife!! I’m sure most peoples wife’s don’t understand the need another khukuri :) Next time I will give you her number and you can grass on me directly :)
