This particular Spyderco is a special kind of knife with a very specific purpose. With that in mind I cannot recommend it for someone who has not undergone very specific training, you’ll just end up hurting yourself. With that aside, the build is as expected of Spyderco, solid, no blade wobble. A smooth but stiff opening which is easing with use as you’d expect. The blade is razor sharp from the box. The scales are textured and give a sound grip for me standard, reversed etc - note: I have large hands! I had to swap the clip from one side to the other to make the draw cleaner for me. Heinnie don’t have these on the shelf very often in my experience so if you’re wanting one and it is in stock, buy it! As usual, Heinnie service & delivery was exceptional!
