Spyderco Manix 2

Very nice knife as expected,service excellent

How did I not find this knife before? I love the ergonomics, the blade was silly sharp out the box, the action so smooth, and I love the locking action. Any negatives? Scales could be more sculpted otherwise its 100% my best, favourite knife.

Shock and awe this Knife is an Assault Knife be In doubt this is an extremely dangerous Knife if used inappropriately it kind of shocks ya if you were in a dark isolated Island this is what you what to survive as your folder I own quite a few folding knives and this is the most scary one

Amazing knife one of my favourites just amazing.

I own a small collection of folding knives that I carry for work (mechanic), and amongst them a number of spydercos. I'd heard nothing but good things about the manix 2, and actually already had the XL version which is itself a great knife. But the standard manix 2, well, this might just be the best overall EDC knife I've ever used or owned to date. It has a nice solid feel and weight to it without been too heavy, an almost perfect "goldielocks" blade size thats neither too big and scary or too small, just right for pretty much any task you could possible need an EDC pocket knife for. And the ergonomics of the handle are simply superb, it locks into your hand effortlessly with jimping in all the right places. Spyderco knives seem to have something of a marmite effect with people either loving or hating them. They certainly are not winning any beauty contests, but personally for work use and ergonomics I've yet to find a better brand overall, and the Manix 2 is the best yet from them. I'd carry this over the PM2, Para 3 or any of the others I own or have tried to date. Given that its also one of the cheaper models amongst their better known designs, its an absolute winner.

Got this for my work knife, as I needed something heavy duty (I'm a mechanic). Have to say I'm extremely happy with it, the fit and finish is fantastic as are all products from Spyderco. The lock is smooth and positive and the blade was so sharp out of the box I was genuinely surprised. Size and weight is something you need to consider, if you need something heavy duty then it'll do you fine. But if not then I'd consider something smaller and lighter for comfort.

What a tool, the whole set-up is solid and indestructible. She glides our the liners with such elegance that you can deploy her effortlessly with a spydie drop, middle finger flick or with the spydie hole. The jumping on the thumb ramp finger choir and at the back bind the scales to your hand like glue so slipping or dropping her are impossible and the ergos are perfect. She fits my hand like a glove. Beautiful sharp blade that requires little attention and the lock up is strong and leaves no worries so much so that you forget about it. I would recommend this knife to anyone who wants a tool that would never let you down. Awesome

This is my 4th Spyderco knife so far and I'm honestly blown away by the Manix 2. The fit and finish is excellent, it's hair popping sharp out of the box and the ergonomics of the entire knife are an absolute joy. This has now become my favourite Spydie in every way. HH service and delivery were excellent, as always.
