SOG Aegis FL Folding Knife 18

Having used this knife at work for nearly a year, I'm impressed with it's performance for the price. I work at a butchers, so it's normally used to open plastic strapping and cardboard, it's kept it's edge well. I find the one handed opening helpful (although closing it one handed took some practice.) I'll probably end up buying a second one for home use.

SOG Aegis FL is fantastic. What a great knife for a really good price. Feels like I've got a far more expensive knife. It has a nice large super sharp blade. The whole knife including the handle is metal. I really like this. Feels good in my hand and I'm able to grip it easily. It's quite light but just feels like a tough well made knife. It looks awesome! Impressed fairplay.

I have owned many knives over the years, some cheap and cheerful, some very expensive. For forty years I was a Laguiole fanboy, before fanboys (or Apple) were a thing. But this knife is without doubt my favourite of all of the knives I have owned. At this price, you really don't care what you use it for, if it were to break (tip is very fine) or the mechanism failed, I would simply buy another. Garden, camping, letter opening, prising something open, carefully shortening a leather belt... all tests passed with flying colours. It also begs the question... Why would you pay more, especially for an edc.

Can't believe this is only £18. This is a brilliant little knife. Titanium coating is beautiful. Blade is razor sharp. Good construction. Nice pocket clip. A bit heavy for it's size but fantastic nonetheless. Smooth to deploy or close. Fairly good steel for the price & what the hell, it's a Sog. Absolutely no complaints..

Unbelievable value for money, feels much more expensive, very sharp, one of my favourite knives even if it is not expensive to buy,quite large too.

Good strong knife that should stand up to daily demands. Very stiff to start with but, soon works in. Fits in my small hand perfectly and is very secure in the hand. Sill getting used to handling it, but getting easier with practice and very sharp, (yes I have christened it).

For the price, an excellent camping knife. The blade is dead central to the frame and sharp on delivery. The frame is simple and clean in design. Does a great job, not much more you could ask from a sub £20 knife.

Very nice for the price.

I had to do a lot of tweaks with the pivot and frame lock to finally get it to open and close with ease one handed. Good blade and easy to sharpen. The blade has a small amount of play and flex but it’s good for everyday tasks including work in the garden
