Nice,warm and comfortable sock on first wear but the problems start on the first wash. The socks snurp up a fair bit meaning that that they aren't long enough to wear under Mk VI Para's. Within far too short a time they had become see through on the heel. They were out lasted by grade 2 German Army Surplus socks. Not rocket science that a military boot sock should be long enough to stop the tops of your boots rubbing on your legs.
Surprised at last review mine are perfect, for walking around all night in my5.11 boots (security guard) extremely comfy and warm, no signs of wear on mine as yet guess I must walk further. excellent service from HH delivered in under 20hrs
