The Schrade Uncle Henry Next Generation Bowie takes the traditional Bowie form and creates a knife with a substantial and long blade which is extremely practical as an outdoor using tool.
The blade is 25cm, almost 10 inches, long with an extended mid section and clip point and is made from 7Cr17MoV stainless steel. It benefits from a full tang design and nickel silver bolsters and pins. The handle is very tough synthetic Staglon. It is supplied with a black nylon sheath with a belt loop.

This Schrade bowie arrived sharp enough for immediate use with a good sheath. The fit and finish is professional and it looks sturdy. In the hand it feels very solid and a minor beating found no loose parts or rattling. In summary it is exactly what you hope to get in a basic bowie at a very reasonable price.
