SCHRADE OLD TIMER FRONTIER LUXEWOOD FOLDING KNIFE
With thanks to HH for the usual overnight delivery, I say: Superb !! I'm a fan of Schrade knives and have a few fixed blade and UK legal 'penknives'. I bought this, as an 'old timer' myself, because I've never owned a proper Schrade folder, and also keen on having a button lock/ ball bearing combination. I was delighted with the easy opening on my example ; no trouble at all, first try. Whilst the thumb studs is, indeed very close to the bolster, the smooth action made opening effortless, and ended with a satisfying click as the blade locked securely open. No slack or waggle whatsoever! Similarly, unlocking was effortless, and I can fold the blade to fully closed entirely single handed (which I find difficult with my other-branded frame lock and liner lock knives). This knife is already extremely sharp as delivered! It's well balanced, feels heavier than expected, relative to its compact dimensions. To my way of thinking, pretty cool-looking, too; an old timer with a modern twist. A very, very good value purchase, and no hesitation saying so. Brilliant addition to my collection in every way.
